Eckoh achieves the PCI DSS v4.0 standard for the 15th consecutive year

October 2024 —Eckoh plc (AIM: ECK), a global leader in Customer Engagement Data Security Solutions, is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the audit process and achieved the new PCI DSS v4.0 standard. This marks the 15th consecutive year that Eckoh has been certified as a Level 1 Service Provider, the longest period of compliance for anyone in our market.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) has undergone significant evolution since its inception in 2004. The latest version, v4.0, introduces a range of new requirements aimed at elevating the baseline for organizations committed to securing sensitive cardholder data.

Our Security Operations Centre spearheaded the audit process, collaborating closely with teams from Development, IT, HR, and Account Management. This collective effort highlights the organization's deep understanding of the data security principles, policies, and processes that form the backbone of our ‘defense in depth’ program.

"We are thrilled to achieve compliance with PCI DSS v4.0, which not only enhances our security measures but also reinforces our unwavering commitment to our customers and partners," said Dave Holliday, Global IT Director, Eckoh plc. "In a rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape, our focus on data security remains paramount. We will continue to invest in innovative solutions to protect our clients’ sensitive information."

Eckoh plc is dedicated to continuously monitoring and enhancing its security practices to ensure ongoing compliance and safeguard customer data.

Additionally, Eckoh will be attending the 2024 PCI Community Meeting (PCICM) in Barcelona this week, where we look forward to discussing the implications of v4.0.1 and upcoming 2025 requirements.
